Width
Measure distance between the side door jambs at three points: the top, middle and bottom of the patio door opening.
Height
Next, measure the distance between the top of the head jamb to the top of the bottom sill at three points: far left, center, and far right.
Depth
Measure the width of the jamb, from edge to edge, across the existing door frame. Ignore any door trim.
